Is it waterproof?
No, water-resistant. It handles rain and road spray without letting anything through, but we are not going to call it waterproof when it is not. For a long ride in heavy monsoon, put your documents in a sealed pouch inside it.
Sling bag or thigh bag?
The sling wears across your chest and works off the bike as an everyday bag. The Countryman thigh bag straps to your leg and stays completely out of your upper body movement. Riders who wear a backpack usually prefer the thigh bag.
Will it fit over a riding jacket?
Yes. The strap is adjustable to fit over armoured gear.
